ParkPacer is an independent project: this website (course database and pace tools) and an optional iPhone / Apple Watch companion app. We do not sell your data and do not use advertising trackers.
Website
- Browsing courses and generating pace plans does not require an account.
- If you contribute a GPX, we store the file contents and the metadata you provide (course name, region, optional id, start coordinates derived from the track) in our review queue hosted on Supabase.
- Approved courses may be published for others to download. Do not submit personal information you do not want associated with a public course.
- Hosting is on Vercel; course submission storage is on Supabase. Processing is limited to operating the site and catalog.
iPhone companion
The app may use Location during a live run, optional Apple Health access for imports and pace suggestions, and on-device storage for plans and barcodes. Barcodes are not uploaded. Optional “Share with ParkPacer” uploads a route you choose — same review queue as web contributions. See in-app Settings for the latest app-specific details.
Your choices
Contact us to ask about a course submission you uploaded. You can stop using the site or delete the app at any time.
Children
ParkPacer is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit personal information of children through course sharing.
ParkPacer is independent and not affiliated with parkrun. Pace plans are recommendations only — not medical advice. Running carries risk; use your own judgement.
